Mister & Miss Dance Titles Regional Selection

At Dance Machine Productions regional competitions soloist are selected to compete for America’s Mister & Miss Dance National Titles.  The titles competition is about being a well-rounded dancer.  Selected soloist will be Semi-finalist for the national title in their age division.  They will compete in Photogenic, Interview, Class, and Solo Routine.   The winners are the faces of Dance Machine for an entire year. The winners MC at competitions help teach convention classes, with awards ceremonies, participate in community service projects and they encourage the regional participants to be the best they can be.  They are the role models of Dance Machine Productions.

The goal of the titles program is to help the participant to grow as a person and learn more about themselves.  It gives them a chance to experience an interview (preparing for the workforce or college scholarship interviews), to be part of an audition process in the class category, to learn the value of a first impression and how to catch the eye of a possible employer with photogenic, and the solo routine is judged on entertainment and appeal to the general public, yet of course good technique is a consideration in solo routine scoring. The America’s Mister & Miss Dance National Titles Scholarship Program strives to provide each participant with a stronger self image and prepare them for the world as a more well rounded adult.

Many participants have said that the program has made them confident and given them a new perspective on being the best they can be.  Most of the time you have made such great friends that no one cares who wins, because a representative is selected from a group that is already winners.

If you wish to be considered for the national titles then you must indicate in the SOLOIST box on the entry form.  Do not enter if you are unable or unwilling to participate at the national level.
